I’m Joyce, a New Jersey girl, living in the Hub City. I enjoy all things glam, traveling, and a good time!

I pride myself on being a multicultural stylist with a passion for creating beautiful hair one head at a time. In cosmetology school we learn texture, and if you know it, you know hair.  All hair is good hair.

And I love ALL hair.

Almost 7 years ago I decided to recreate myself and obtain a professional cosmetology license so I could use the passion and skill I had for creating beautiful hair. After I graduated from the Academy of Hair, I started my career at The Belk Salon and where I honed in on my blonding, coloring, and cutting skills. The training was intense, and it elevated my technical skills. After Belk, I sharpened my hot tools game alongside my Cosmo creatives at Clutch. Shortly after, the pandemic hit and the climate for change was upon me.

As the world shut down I began to burst out of my seams with dreams of my own. I began to work harder on myself than I did ever before. In 2020, I took a chance on myself and opened my very own salon, Hairtier.

Hairtier is cozy and inviting. Its one-on-one service and comfortable environment attract you the woman who wants to not only look amazing but likes to feel comfortable enough to go to sleep during her warm, deep massaging shampoo. I love educating my clients as I bless their hair with spa like services. It’s important to me that my client knows how to maintain her hair at home until her next appointment.

I also enjoy my time with my husband, children & puppies. We love to play games together, explore new places, eat good food, and we love traveling - making our very own adventures.
